Sarah Crawshaw

Managing Director, Asia Pacific

Sarah leads TBH throughout Asia Pacific. She consults clients across all industries and works closely with communications and corporate affairs professionals to help them navigate and build their careers. Sarah has considerable experience in communications search and has provided talent management solutions to many leading listed companies in markets across the Asia Pacific region. She also consults with businesses on organisational design and competency framework development.


In 2018, Sarah was appointed to the Institute for Public Relations Board of Trustees. She is also an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators and is a regular speaker at industry events and conferences.


Prior to her career in Asia, Sarah worked in executive search for Taylor Bennett in London, again specialising in communications, with a focus on UK public affairs and investor relations assignments. She holds a Master’s in Economics and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Laws from the BPP Law School, London.

Sara Hurd

Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific

Sara oversees TBH’s operations in Asia Pacific.


She started her career in marketing, before moving into corporate and financial communications and investor relations, in London and then Hong Kong.


In Hong Kong, Sara set up and managed a practice specialising in headhunting public relations professionals, before establishing her own firm (Sara Wells Associates), focusing on executive search for corporate communications professionals across Asia.


She subsequently spent 15 years with Taylor Bennett, performing executive search and operational roles, based in Hong Kong and London.

Bill Heyman

Founder & Director


Bill is the President and CEO of Heyman Associates, and co-founder of TBH. He has filled top communications roles for some of the most recognised brands in the world, including leading corporations, foundations, academic institutions and professional associations.


Bill is the only recruiter to be named a PR Power List Supporting Power Player three times by PR Week, which said, “In an industry where talent is everything, Heyman helps connect some of the most senior pros to jobs, making him an indispensable asset to all those involved in executive searches.” He was inducted into the PR Week Hall of Fame in 2017.


Bill is involved in a number of professional associations. He is a committee member of The Seminar, a member of the Arthur W. Page Society, a trustee of the Institute for Public Relations and a founding board member of The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations at the University of Alabama. Bill is also a member of the Department of Communication Advisory Council of the College of Charleston and has served as an Executive Advisor to the department since 2007.


In collaboration with The Plank Center, Bill has initiated four groundbreaking public relations studies. Most recently, in the Leadership Report Card, over 800 senior communicators rated their organizations’ commitment to employee engagement and empowerment. He also co-chairs The Plank Center’s annual Milestones in Mentoring awards dinner.


A Gettysburg College graduate, Bill has served on the school’s National Campaign Steering Committee, Communications and Marketing Advisory Council, and Board of Fellows. He has served as President of the Class of 1974, is a mentor for the college’s Young Alumni Leadership Program and received the Gettysburg Meritorious Service Award. Bill earned his MBA from Adelphi University.

Heather McGregor

Founder & Director


Professor Heather McGregor, CBE is co-founder of TBH and the principal shareholder and non-executive chairman of Taylor Bennett, having bought the company from its founders in 2004. In her early career, she worked in financial PR and investor relations before doing an MBA at the London Business School and joining ABN Amro as a sellside analyst. She then spent eight years with the bank, working in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, before joining Taylor Bennett in 2000. She is the Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, the graduate school of business of Heriot Watt University.


Heather has a PhD from the University of Hong Kong. She was the founder of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, which works to promote diversity in the communications industry by equipping talented graduates from ethnic minorities with the skills and confidence to pursue successful communications careers. Heather was a founding member of the steering committee of the 30% Club, which is working to raise the representation of women at senior levels within the UK’s publicly quoted companies. A strong champion of diversity in the workplace, Heather was awarded a CBE in June 2015 for services to business, especially employment skills and diversity. She is one of the six members of the UK Government's Honours Committee for the Economy, which recommends honours for people contributing to business life.


She is also an experienced writer and broadcaster, including writing for the Financial Times for 17 years under the pseudonym Mrs Moneypenny. As Mrs Moneypenny, she has presented several TV series for C4 and had a one-woman show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010 and 2013, which also had an off-Broadway run. She has held a private pilot’s license for ten years, and has written seven books.

Hannah Park

Consultant, Asia Pacific


Hannah consults on search assignments throughout Asia Pacific. She works across all industries on senior-level corporate affairs and communications hires.


Prior to joining TBH, Hannah worked in the UK with communications search firm, Taylor Bennett, as well another London-based recruitment firm specialising in communications appointments.


With an earlier career in public affairs, and time spent working in the Houses of Parliament as an MP’s Researcher, Hannah brings additional insight and understanding of the communications sector from a practitioner’s perspective.


She has an MA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.

Charles McInerney

Senior Associate, Asia Pacific


Charles supports our consultants on senior-level communications search assignments throughout the Asia Pacific region, across all sectors. He also manages the firm’s online presence and acts as “quality control” on all content output.


He joined the TBH team after graduating from the University of Sussex with a first-class undergraduate degree in Anthropology. Alongside his studies, Charles undertook regular internships with London-based communications search firm Taylor Bennett.

Simple Kan

Associate, Asia Pacific


Simple provides research support to our consultants on communications search assignments across all industries in Asia Pacific.

Prior to this, she held a secretarial position within the education sector. Fluent in English and Chinese, she was part of a number of translation projects where she drew on her creative writing, proofreading and translation skills.


Born and raised in Hong Kong, Simple relocated back to the city upon the completion of her university studies in Scotland. She graduated with honours from the University of Edinburgh, with an MA in Sociology and an MSc in Education: Language.

Eddie Cheung

Office Manager


Eddie ensures the smooth running of TBH’s day-to-day operations, including managing IT and finances.


Before returning to Hong Kong in 2014, Eddie worked for a logistics company in Sweden, where he was born and raised. He is fluent in English, Swedish and Chinese.


Earlier in his career, Eddie was engaged in projects for the National Model of United Nations. He graduated from the University of Jonkoping, Sweden, with a major in Political Science. He also studied Chinese Politics during a semester at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Jocelyn Lou

Executive Assistant

Jocelyn provides administrative support to TBH’s senior management.


She has over 25 years of experience in office management and executive assistance, having held positions in the executive search, oil and gas, and financial sectors, as well as in the public sector with the Ministry of Defence.
