Communicating Culture: Internal Engagement Under the Senior Managers Regime 07/12/2016



Taylor Bennett, our parent company in London, recently published a report on the Senior Manager’s Regime (SMR) and its implications on the corporate communications function, particularly internal communications. Though SMR is a UK-based initiative, it is indicative of an emergent global trend where individual managers are increasingly being held personally accountable for maintaining a corporate culture that discourages risky or even legally questionable behaviour.

The main takeaway from this research: corporate culture is more important than ever, and communicators can play a key role in helping the C-suite and other senior management to promote appropriate values and manage business risk.
