Bill is the President and CEO of Heyman Associates. With his diverse network and passion for executive search, he has filled top communications roles for some of the most recognized brands in the world, including leading corporations, foundations, academic institutions and professional associations.
Bill is the only recruiter to be named a PR Power List Supporting Power Player three times by PRWeek, which said, “In an industry where talent is everything, Heyman helps connect some of the most senior pros to jobs, making him an indispensable asset to all those involved in executive searches.”
Based on his professional contributions, Bill was asked to serve on the committee of The Seminar, the most prestigious organization within communications. He is a member of the select Arthur W. Page Society for senior public relations and corporate communications executives and serves as a trustee of the Institute for Public Relations. He also serves on the board of the Public Relations Society of America Foundation.
A Gettysburg College graduate, Bill was selected to serve as a mentor to the Young Alumni Leadership Program and also serves on the school’s Communications and Marketing Advisory Council. In his previous leadership roles at his alma mater, he was Marketing Committee Chairman, National Campaign Steering Committee member, Board of Fellows member and June 2005 Gettysburg Meritorious Service award recipient. He earned an MBA from Adelphi University.
Professor Heather McGregor, CBE is co-founder of Taylor Bennett Heyman and the principal shareholder and non-executive chairman of Taylor Bennett, having bought the company from its founders in 2004. In her early career she worked in financial PR and investor relations before doing an MBA at the London Business School and joining ABN Amro as a sellside analyst. She then spent eight years with the bank, working in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, before joining Taylor Bennett in 2000. She is the Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, the graduate school of business of Heriot Watt University.
Heather has a PhD from the University of Hong Kong. She was the founder of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, which works to promote diversity in the communications industry by equipping talented graduates from ethnic minorities with the skills and confidence to pursue successful communications careers. Heather was a founding member of the steering committee of the 30% Club, which is working to raise the representation of women at senior levels within the UK’s publicly quoted companies. She is also an experienced writer and broadcaster, and wrote under the pseudonym Mrs Moneypenny in the Financial Times for 17 years.
Sara oversees the operations of the Taylor Bennett Heyman companies in Hong Kong and Singapore. Having started her career in marketing, she moved into corporate and financial communications and investor relations, in London and then Hong Kong. In Hong Kong Sara went on to set up and manage a practice specialising in headhunting public relations professionals, before establishing her own firm (Sara Wells Associates), focusing on executive search for corporate communications professionals across Asia. She subsequently spent 15 years with Taylor Bennett, the parent company of Taylor Bennett Heyman, working in executive search and operational roles in Hong Kong and London. In 2017 she took up her current role overseeing the operations for the Asia Pacific business of Taylor Bennett Heyman.
Sarah is based in Hong Kong and leads Taylor Bennett Heyman’s operation throughout Asia Pacific. She consults for roles across all sectors and disciplines, spanning corporate affairs, investor relations, marketing communications, public affairs and reputation management. Sarah has considerable experience in communications search and has led many successful assignments in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.
She originally joined Taylor Bennett in August 2008 and spent five years working in London, mainly focusing on UK public affairs and investor relations assignments. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Economics and Politics. Whilst at Edinburgh she was a committee member of the University’s Investment Club and was in charge of the Alternative Investment division of the club. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from the BPP Law School in London and was awarded an LLB in September 2011.
Hannah joined Taylor Bennett Heyman in September 2016 after spending three months working for parent company Taylor Bennett, in London. She is based in Hong Kong and works on search assignments throughout the Asia Pacific regions, across all sectors and disciplines.
Prior to this, Hannah spent several years working for a specialist communications recruitment consultancy in London. Her earlier career in public affairs, and time spent working in the Houses of Parliament as an MP’s Researcher, has given her an additional insight and understanding of the communications sector from a practitioner’s perspective.
Hannah has an MA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.
Based in Hong Kong, Charles supports our consultants on senior-level corporate communications search assignments throughout the Asia Pacific region, across all sectors and disciplines. He joined the Taylor Bennett Heyman team in July 2014, after graduating from the University of Sussex with a first-class degree in Anthropology. Alongside his studies, Charles undertook regular internships with London-based communications executive search firm Taylor Bennett – the parent company of Taylor Bennett Heyman.
Archie joined the Taylor Bennett Heyman office in Hong Kong in May 2016 after completing a 3 month internship. He recently spent a year at university in Shanghai undertaking intensive Mandarin classes and graduated from Newcastle University with a first class-degree in Chinese and Cultural Studies.
Archie’s role is to provide detailed research support in all searches across the Asia Pacific region as well as Australia, and also to contribute towards the overall development of Taylor Bennett Heyman’s intellectual property, working directly alongside the consultants and directors.
Eddie was born and raised in Sweden but with a family background in Hong Kong. Eddie spent several years working at the logistics company Bring Logistics AB in Sweden, before deciding to move to Hong Kong in 2014. He joined Taylor Bennett Heyman in January 2015 as Office Manager. He oversees the daily administrative operations of the business and provides executive level administrative and marketing support to the management team.
Eddie is well equipped with knowledge of the working environment in Europe and Asia, as well as a good understanding of people from different cultures. Between 2006 and 2011 he was engaged in ongoing projects for the National Model of United Nations. Eddie graduated from the University of Jonkoping, Sweden, with a major in Political Science. He also studied Chinese politics during a semester at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Jocelyn is a seasoned Office Manager-cum-Executive Assistant with over 25 years in the field. She has extensive experience with all administrative tasks and her responsibility extends to the smooth running of day-to-day office operations. Having held positions in the Executive Search industry, Oil & Gas, Financial Institutions and the Ministry of Defence, Jocelyn is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of various clients.
